1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the routeur.ai service ("Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Oliver Tappin Ltd, trading as routeur.ai ("routeur.ai", "we", "us").
2. The Service
routeur.ai is an LLM gateway that routes prompts to upstream model providers on your behalf. You are responsible for the prompts you send, the data they contain, and your end users' use of any responses returned.
3. Trial & billing
We offer a 7-day free trial when you sign up. You must provide a valid payment method to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial. At the end of the trial we will charge the payment method on file for the plan you selected unless you cancel from billing settings before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break any law, infringe any right, or violate any upstream provider's terms;
- generate content that is illegal, harassing, or designed to harm;
- send personal data of any individual without a lawful basis;
- circumvent rate limits, billing, or security controls;
- resell raw model access as a standalone product without prior written consent.
5. Your data
You retain all rights to the prompts and responses processed through the Service ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data only to operate the Service. We do not train our own models on Customer Data. Upstream provider behaviour is governed by their terms; see our security page for current provider data-handling notes.
6. Availability & warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that upstream providers will be available. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, routeur.ai's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if continued provision of the Service would expose us to legal risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify account owners of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
